A Year Round Farmers’ Market

Open Saturdays 8am – 1pm

In its 37th season, the Truro Farmers’ Market is home to over 45 vendors every Saturday. Located in the historic fire hall building, the market is a one stop shop and vibrant gathering space in the heart of downtown Truro. The spring and summer seasons feature abundant local produce, baked goods, bedding plants, flower baskets, bouquets, specialty body products, handcrafted woodwork, decorative crafts, N.S. wine and spirits, meats, cheese, eggs, delicious foods to enjoy onsite or take home AND more!

The Return of Market Fare Dinners!

~NEXT DINNER Wednesday September 6th from 4:30 – 6:30 pm~

$15 admission gets you fresh, home baked bread and salad plus $12 in Market Fare Money to spend at the vendors. Choose from delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts. 10 food vendors bring their most delicious foods. Come enjoy a full market hall dinner with live music and a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Whoo Hoo! Chris Elgee from Great British Grub was the champion pie eater at the Wild Blueberry Jam last night! Showing spectacular form he dug into that pie and in two minutes devoured enough pie to unseat 3 time champ Keith Gillis of G&G Computers and 6 other contestants.Congratulations Chris!!
