Truro Farmers’ Market
The Truro Farmers’ Market Cooperative operates YEAR ROUND at 15 Young Street in Truro, Nova Scotia. We are a certified farmers’ market with Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia, which means our vendors ‘make it, bake it, grow it’ themselves. We are proud to have a wide variety of offerings each week from our cooperative member vendors and casual vendors. Find produce, meats, eggs, cheese, fresh baking, spirits, handcrafted items, prepared food, coffee, maple, jams, jellies and so much more.
During the spring, summer and fall seasons you can find us both inside and outside Market Hall. During the cooler months find our member vendors cozy inside our historic building in Downtown Truro. We are cooperative run which means our member vendors come together to help our market thrive. Come visit us this Saturday to see what we are all about!
Becoming a Vendor:
Our online applications are OPEN for Spring/Summer 2023. Our cooperative membership runs from May 1 – April 30. Find our online application under the heading ‘at the market’ then, ‘become a vendor’. We suggest coming first as a casual vendor before committing to being a member vendor. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out. We are happy to hear from interested producers at any time of the year!
Need a place to meet?
The Market Hall is available for rental on non-market days (Sunday through Thursday). We currently book workshops, community events and small private events that do not involve alcohol. We currently do not take bookings for weddings or large parties. We have non-profit rates to foster community connection in our space. Please email for more information and with a description of your event.
